AMANDA BEEKER

Amanda agreed to stick it out for years with Willis while they grew the refueling ship business, but she misses being away from the cosmopolitan, social excitement of their home planet, Earus. She is concerned about the family finances and worries that her daughters have less of a chance of getting into a quality university if home-schooled. She knows Willis prefers the kids to stay on the ship learning farm ethics but is relieved when Willis—because he loves his wife—reluctantly agrees that they need to move back to the main planet. But then fate intervenes...!
