Edgar is Hiro's father.

Trapped in Hiro and Liz's brutally ruled home world, he lost his wife in an exploitive factory accident, and bitter from that, his personal life worsened -- and so he was not a very responsible father to Hiro. Hiro has been a good son to him but Hiro's rough upbringing has caused him to be volatile, bitter and dangerous. Will Edgar redeem himself?
